Woman attacked by naked man at apartment complex

BURBANK, CA – Authorities are conducting an investigation into the death of a 43-year-old man. The man was found naked, and he had allegedly assaulted a female resident within an apartment complex in Burbank. Other nearby residents were restraining the naked suspect while waiting for the police to arrive. The incident unfolded around 9:30 p.m. on Friday in the 2200 block of North Ontario Street, situated approximately a block away from Hollywood Burbank Airport, according to Burbank Police Department Sgt. Stephen Turner.

Upon responding to the scene, officers encountered the unclothed man in a state of medical distress. They promptly initiated life-saving measures, which included administering Narcan and performing CPR, Turner stated. Burbank Fire Paramedics arrived subsequently, making efforts to resuscitate the unidentified man. Despite their attempts, he was eventually pronounced dead.

To determine the cause of death, authorities are waiting for the results of an autopsy and toxicology tests. Investigators examined video footage of the incident and interviewed multiple witnesses, who alleged that the naked man had broken windows and assaulted a female resident, as disclosed by Turner. All individuals involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, and no arrests have been made as of now.

A search warrant was executed for the man’s apartment and vehicle, leading to the discovery of undisclosed narcotics, according to Turner.
