Burning Man is an annual giant gathering that broadly runs from Aug. 25 to Sept. 2, and it attracts around 80,000 attendees each year.
The previous year was severely affected by heavy rains, resulting in thousands being stranded in the mud and directed to preserve food until their safe departure.
