Houston, Texas – Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, real name Markies Conway, has been indicted on charges of capital murder in connection to the shooting death of fellow rapper Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble. The indictment alleges that Conway hired a man named Kewon White to carry out the murder. While details on the motive behind the alleged hiring were not provided, the indictment highlights Conway’s involvement in the tragic incident.
Noble, 28, was driving on Interstate 35 in south Dallas on November 11, 2020, when White allegedly approached him with a gun. In an attempt to escape, Noble exited his vehicle and started running on the freeway, but was fatally shot by White. A bystander in another car was also shot during the incident, but survived. White, along with another individual named Devin Brown, were later indicted for their roles in Noble’s death.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Conway has been involved in a shooting incident. In 2018, he survived being shot while driving in Lewisville, Texas. Known for his hit singles “That’s On Me” and “Bacc At It Again,” Conway’s music career has been overshadowed by the unfortunate events surrounding him. Noble, with a significant following on social media, was recognized for his music as well, notably for his remix of the song “Errybody” with rapper Boosie Badazz.
Following Conway’s arrest, Noble’s mother expressed relief, seeking justice for her son. Despite the arrests and indictments, the cases related to Noble’s death are still pending, leaving questions unanswered. As the legal proceedings continue, the music industry remains impacted by the loss of a rising star and the alleged involvement of a well-known rapper in his tragic death.
