Seattle, WA – Microsoft unveiled a new lineup of Copilot Plus PCs at their recent Surface event, and Samsung was quick to showcase their Galaxy Book4 Edge series. These new laptops include a 14-inch model and two 16-inch versions, all under the Galaxy Book4 Edge umbrella.
The 14-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge, starting at $1,349.99, boasts impressive specs with a 12-core 3.4GHz Snapdragon X Elite processor, 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. The laptop features a 14-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and 120 percent of the P3 color gamut.
In addition, Samsung’s offering includes two USB 4 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and a combo audio jack, all packed into a lightweight build weighing 2.6 pounds. The synergy between the hardware components promises a seamless user experience for consumers looking for top-of-the-line performance.
Moving up the scale, the 16-inch models of the Galaxy Book4 Edge come in two variants – one with a higher-end Snapdragon X Elite processor and 1TB of storage priced at $1,749.99, and the other with similar specs to the 14-inch model but with 512GB of storage for $1,449.99. Both models offer the same display features as the 14-inch, with additional connectivity options like USB 3.2 Type-A port and a microSD card slot.
Despite all the impressive specifications, some tech enthusiasts may find the 16GB RAM limit on all three laptops slightly underwhelming. However, Samsung aims to compensate by integrating features like the Knox secure enclave and seamless data sharing abilities with their Galaxy Phones.
Interested buyers can start preordering the Galaxy Book4 Edge series on May 20th, with Samsung sweetening the deal by offering a complimentary 50-inch TV for early birds who secure their orders promptly. This limited-time promotion adds even more value to an already enticing lineup of high-performance laptops from Samsung.
