Search Intensifies for Missing 3-Year-Old Wisconsin Boy Allegedly Sent Away for Disciplinary Reasons

Two Rivers, Wisconsin – The search intensifies for a missing 3-year-old boy, Elijah Vue, as district attorney Jacalyn LaBre alleges that the child was sent to stay with a man “for disciplinary reasons.” LaBre made this revelation during a court appearance on Friday, shedding light on the disappearance of the young boy last seen on Tuesday.

Vue’s mother, Katrina Baur, and the man he was allegedly sent to stay with, Jesse Vang, are facing charges of child neglect following the allegations made in court. The district attorney stated that Vang was the last person in charge of Elijah’s care, raising questions about the nature of the relationship between Baur and Vang.

According to police statements, Elijah was reported missing from a residence in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, on Tuesday morning by an individual claiming to be his caregiver. A massive search was launched, including a statewide Amber Alert to aid in locating the missing child.

During a hearing, LaBre emphasized that Baur intentionally sent Elijah to Vang’s residence as a form of discipline, highlighting the lack of care provided. Both Baur and Vang are being held on bail, awaiting further court proceedings scheduled for early March.

Law enforcement officials, alongside volunteers and community members, have been tirelessly searching for Elijah since his disappearance, utilizing various resources to cover every inch of the city and beyond. The Green Bay police dive team has even joined efforts in the search.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities urge residents to check their properties for any signs of Elijah and to report any sightings or clues to assist in the search efforts. Two Rivers, a city located on Lake Michigan, continues to come together in hope of finding the missing child and uncovering the truth behind his disappearance.
