Los Angeles, California – Former NFL assistant head coach/offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has found a new opportunity in the college ranks, joining UCLA as associate head coach/offensive coordinator under new head coach DeShaun Foster. Bieniemy expressed his excitement to work alongside Foster and return to a familiar environment where he once coached running backs from 2003-2005.

Having previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, Bieniemy brings a wealth of experience to UCLA. During his time with the Chiefs, the team achieved significant success, winning two Super Bowls and leading the league in both scoring and total offense. His coaching prowess is also evidenced by the development of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who became a two-time NFL MVP under Bieniemy’s guidance.

Bieniemy’s most recent coaching stint was with the Washington Commanders, where he faced the challenge of revitalizing a struggling offense. His goal is to attract talented student-athletes to UCLA by leveraging his successful coaching background and experience working with elite players and coaches in the NFL.

Bieniemy’s coaching journey has been marked by success both at the professional and collegiate levels. His return to UCLA signifies a new chapter in his career, one he is eagerly anticipating.
