66th Grammy Awards Winners Revealed: Trevor Noah to Host at Crypto.com Arena | CBS and Paramount+ Live Stream at 5 p.m. PT

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 66th Grammy Awards kicked off at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. Hosted by Trevor Noah, the prime-time ceremony was broadcast on CBS and available for streaming on Paramount+ at 5 p.m. PT.

This year, SZA leads with nine nominations, including for song, record, and album of the year. The Recording Academy also added three new categories for the 2024 edition: African music performance, alternative jazz album, and pop dance recording.

The majority of the awards were presented at the Premiere Ceremony hosted by Justin Tranter, streaming live from the Peacock Theater on live.grammy.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel.

Among the winners were The String Revolution featuring Tommy Emmanuel for “Folsom Prison Blues” in the Arrangement, Instrumental, or A Cappella category, John Williams for “Helena’s Theme” in the Instrumental Composition category, and Michelle Obama for “The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times” in the Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording category.

Other winners included Julian Marley & Antaeus for “Colors of Royal” in the Reggae Album category, Carla Patullo featuring Tonality and the Scorchio Quartet for “So She Howls” in the New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category, and Juanes for “Vida Cotidiana” in the Latin Rock or Alternative Album category.

In the Contemporary Blues Album category, Larkin Poe’s “Blood Harmony” emerged as the winner, while in the Traditional Blues Album category, Bobby Rush’s “All My Love for You” took home the award.

The album “Barbie: The Album” won in the category of Best Music Film. The Grammy Awards also honored Stephen Barton & Gordy Haab for “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category and Ludwig Göransson for “Oppenheimer” in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category.

The event was filled with performances and celebrations of outstanding music across various genres, showcasing the diversity and talent within the music industry. The 66th Grammy Awards recognized excellence and innovation, honoring artists and creators for their exceptional contributions to music.
