**Abortion:** Olivia Rodrigo’s Tour Bans Emergency Contraceptives – Controversy Erupts!

St. Louis, Missouri – Abortion rights groups will no longer hand out emergency contraceptives and condoms at Olivia Rodrigo’s concerts on her Guts World Tour. The decision comes after the distribution of Plan B and condoms at her St. Louis concert made nationwide news due to Missouri’s near-total abortion ban and legislative attempts to restrict access to the morning-after pill.

Rodrigo’s management has requested that future abortion rights groups refrain from distributing emergency contraceptives at upcoming shows, citing the presence of children at the concerts. Despite this change, the National Network of Abortion Funds groups will still have a presence at tour stops through Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good initiative.

In response to the decision, the Missouri Abortion Fund expressed disappointment that other abortion funds will not have the same opportunity to provide emergency contraceptives. However, they are encouraged by the positive response and remain committed to increasing efforts to serve their community.

One representative from the Prairie Abortion Fund highlighted the importance of providing sexual health resources to young individuals, emphasizing the need for education and access to reproductive health services. The Fund will be present at Rodrigo’s St. Paul, Minnesota concert tonight.

Rodrigo’s team and various abortion rights groups did not provide comments to Rolling Stone at the time of press. Following the start of her Guts World Tour in February, Rodrigo launched Fund 4 Good to support reproductive health initiatives. The fund directs a portion of ticket proceeds from North American tour stops to the National Network of Abortion Funds and provides support to local groups at each venue.

The decision to no longer distribute emergency contraceptives at Rodrigo’s concerts reflects a shift in approach but continues to support reproductive health initiatives through alternative means. The discussion around this change highlights the ongoing work of abortion funds in communities across the country, emphasizing the importance of access to resources and information in sexual health education.
