Following the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit’s decision to uphold the age verification part of the law, Pornhub made the decision to block access from Texas. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton hailed the decision as a victory over porn companies and defended the state’s law, stating that it does not violate free speech laws. In response to the court ruling, Pornhub’s parent company, Aylo, blocked access to its site and subsidiaries in Texas as a form of protest against the law.
