Allegations of Abuse: New Accusers Step Forward in Jonathan Majors Scandal

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – After being found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, actor Jonathan Majors is facing further accusations of abuse from two more of his exes. These allegations were made public in a recent report by The New York Times, which also included separate claims tied to Majors’ time on the show “Lovecraft Country.”

Emma Duncan, who was engaged to Majors from 2015 to 2019, alleged emotional abuse and physical violence during their relationship. She described instances where Majors allegedly threatened her life and made disturbing remarks. Majors’ lawyer denied the allegations of physical abuse and threats, acknowledging only that the relationship had serious arguments.

Another ex, Maura Hooper, dated Majors from 2013 to 2015 and claimed emotional abuse during their time together. Allegations were made about Majors’ behavior after their breakup, including verbal attacks and disturbing remarks. His lawyer stated that Majors was “embarrassed by some of his jealous behavior,” but did not recall specific details of the alleged incidents.

The report also included separate allegations of confrontational behavior by Majors towards women who worked on the set of “Lovecraft Country.” These allegations included verbal and physical confrontations, with three women coming forward with complaints. Majors’ lawyer denied the allegations and stated that he had never been informed of any objections to his behavior.

The accusations against Jonathan Majors shine a light on the issue of abuse and confrontational behavior in relationships and the entertainment industry. These allegations come at a time when the industry is already under scrutiny for its treatment of women and the need for a safer and more respectful work environment.
