Cupertino, California – Apple Card holders in the United States are receiving notifications that their titanium cards are about to expire. The first batch of Apple Cards issued are reaching their expiration date, prompting Apple to send out replacements to its customers.
The titanium Apple Card, designed for use in places that do not accept contactless payments like Apple Pay, is valid for about five years. Customers who received the original titanium card with no expiration date engraved on it are now being informed via email about the upcoming expiration and the automatic shipment of a new card to their billing address.
Apple ensures customers that they can continue using their Apple Card at any location that accepts Apple Pay, even without the physical card. The replacement titanium card will be shipped within two weeks from the date of the notification, allowing customers to use their current card until it expires or the new one is activated.
