Arizona police identify body that they found burned in fire pit

In a shocking incident near Lost Dutchman State Park, authorities have identified the body of an 18-year-old boy, Parker League, who was reported missing from Tempe. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office labeled the death as “malicious”, without revealing further details.

The department’s homicide unit has now taken the reins of the investigation to determine the events leading to his demise.

The alarming discovery was made on Monday, June 12, in a secluded desert region northeast of Apache Junction. The remains of League were located in the remnants of a makeshift bonfire in the Bulldog Canyon – Hackamore area, east of State Route 88 and the Lost Dutchman State Park.

The exact cause of the teenager’s death remains undisclosed by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. As per a statement from the Tempe police on Wednesday, Parker was visiting Arizona from a different state. His belongings were discovered at a residence in Tempe, and he was reported missing by a family member.
