Arrested! Remy Ma’s Son Charged with 1st Degree Murder – Shocking Details Revealed!

Queens, New York – The son of rapper Remy Ma, Jayson Scott, along with another man, Richard Swygert, have been arrested in connection with the 2021 fatal shooting of a man in Queens, as reported by the NYPD on Wednesday. The arrest comes three years after 43-year-old Darius Guillebeaux was gunned down in a brazen daylight attack on June 7, 2021, at the intersection of 148th Street and Rockaway Boulevard in Springfield Gardens.

Guillebeaux was shot in the head and chest during the incident, and police are still investigating the motive behind the killing. Authorities initially suspected that a dispute may have led to the violent confrontation. Both Scott and Swygert have been charged with first-degree murder, as well as criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

Notably, Guillebeaux had been indicted by New York Attorney General Letitia James in a large-scale drug trafficking probe called “Operation Heat Wave” just eight months before his death. The operation targeted individuals involved in funneling heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine to Jefferson County, upstate New York.

Scott, whose mother Remy Ma is a Grammy-nominated artist, has a history of violent arrests. The Bronx native rose to fame as a member of Fat Joe’s group, Terror Squad, in the 90s. Remy Ma herself served six years in prison after being involved in a near-fatal shooting outside a Manhattan nightclub in 2007.

It remains unclear if there was any prior connection between Scott, Swygert, and Guillebeaux before the fatal shooting. The investigation into the case is ongoing as authorities continue to piece together the events leading up to the tragic incident. The community awaits further developments in the case as the legal process unfolds.
