Austin police trying to identify woman responsible for series of drugging and robbing crimes

AUSTIN, TX – Local authorities are on the hunt for a woman believed to be responsible for a series of druggings and robberies that took place from January 2022 to December 2023. The Austin Police Department’s Robbery Unit has issued a public plea for assistance in identifying the suspect, who is accused of drugging men and stealing their credit cards and smartphones.

According to the police, the stolen goods were used to carry out fraudulent transactions and purchases, amounting to over $75,000. The suspect reportedly exploited banking apps on the victims’ phones and used their credit cards for physical purchases.

The series of crimes have been reported in Austin’s bustling downtown Entertainment District. The suspect is a Caucasian female, around 5 feet 6 inches tall, of a larger build, with blonde hair and often seen wearing makeup.

The Austin Police Department, in a bid to expedite the arrest, is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the suspect’s capture.
