Bat Bite Drama: Gossip Girl Star Taylor Momsen Attacked on Stage by Flying Creature!

Sevilla, Spain – “Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen had a frightening encounter on stage with a bat while performing with her band The Pretty Reckless. The incident occurred during a performance in Sevilla, Spain, where the bat attached itself to Momsen’s dress and bit her on the leg. Momsen, a 30-year-old singer-songwriter, was singing her song “Witches Burn” at Estadio La Cartuja when the incident happened.

Following the incident, Momsen shared a video of the encounter with the bat and clips from her hospital visit after the bite. In an Instagram post, she described the situation as a “ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT” and expressed gratitude to the hospital staff who dubbed her “batgirl.”

During the concert, Momsen noticed the crowd trying to get her attention, leading her to discover the bat clinging to the bottom of her dress. Despite the unexpected interruption, she remained composed and continued her performance with the help of crew members who removed the bat from her leg.

Despite the ordeal, Momsen maintained her composure, even joking that she must really be a witch. The crowd applauded her professionalism as she handled the situation with grace. As per the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, rabies is a serious illness that is almost always fatal if not immediately treated. The treatment for rabies exposure includes a dose of human rabies immune globulin and a series of vaccines administered as soon as possible after exposure.

Momsen, who rose to fame as Cindy Lou Who in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” decided to retire from acting to focus on her music career. She is the frontwoman of The Pretty Reckless, a band that has achieved success with four studio albums and seven number one singles on the U.S. rock charts.
