Los Angeles, CA – Kanye West is under investigation as a suspect in a battery case after allegedly punching a man who grabbed his wife, Bianca Censori. The incident occurred at the Chateau Marmont Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
According to police sources, the altercation took place on Tuesday, and both West and Censori left the scene after the alleged physical confrontation. Reports suggest that the man West allegedly punched had made unwanted advances towards Censori, prompting the altercation.
A representative for the rapper claimed that the man not only assaulted Censori physically but also sexually. The representative stated that the man put his hands on Censori’s body, under her dress, and grabbed her inappropriately, leading to the altercation.
This is not the first time West has faced accusations of battery. In a previous incident in 2022, the “Life of Pablo” artist was sued for assault, battery, and negligence after allegedly punching an autograph seeker outside a hotel.
The 2022 incident was investigated, but West was not charged by the LA City Attorney’s Office due to a lack of evidence. West and Censori, who have been married since December 2022, were seen enjoying a date at Disneyland in Los Angeles just hours before the alleged battery incident.
Censori was observed walking around the amusement park without shoes, opting for bandages instead. The 29-year-old Australian model completed her outfit with a beige bodysuit and a tan piece of cloth.
The investigation into the recent battery case involving Kanye West is ongoing, with police planning to contact both West and his wife for further information. The couple has not yet commented publicly on the incident.
