Body of missing Nashville woman found in creek

NASHVILLE, TN – The body of a woman discovered in a Nashville creek over the recent weekend has been confirmed to be Emily Bradley, a 44-year-old woman who went missing in February, say authorities. The circumstances surrounding Bradley’s death have led it to be classified as a homicide.

Bradley’s body was found on Saturday in Whites Creek, located a short distance from where she was reportedly last seen. The Medical Examiner’s Office officially determined that the woman’s cause of death was blunt force trauma.

Although Bradley was officially declared missing on February 21, she was last seen three days earlier, leaving her home on February 18, driving her silver 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, as per the police statement. The car, noted for having a Florida license plate and a prominent dent on the trunk, has yet to be located.

As part of the current homicide investigation, detectives are persistently searching for Bradley’s missing vehicle. Community members are encouraged to report any information regarding Bradley’s demise or the whereabouts of her car to the local Crime Stoppers line.

Prior to the unfortunate discovery of her body, Bradley’s acquaintances voiced their fears regarding her safety. They relayed their concerns due to the unusual occurrence of her emotional support dog discovered alone in her home. Additionally, Bradley’s sudden lack of contact with her parents raised suspicion among her friends and family.
