Boss Challenge Mode Unleashed in Stellar Blade Patch 1.003 – New Outfits, Features, and More!

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – Shift Up Corp., the developer of Stellar Blade, recently rolled out patch 1.003 for the game, introducing exciting new features for players to enjoy. The action-packed game, initially exclusive to PlayStation 5, has received favorable reviews since its release in April. Despite its strengths in gameplay, Stellar Blade has faced criticism for its lackluster story and character development.

One of the highlights of the new update is the addition of the Boss Challenge mode, where players can test their skills against the 19 bosses featured in the base game. Director Kim Hyung Tae revealed that players will need battle data from previously defeated bosses to progress in the challenge. Additionally, players can face bosses on harder difficulty settings after completing the game.

Players can customize their challenge by utilizing their own gear or selecting from preset options for varying levels of difficulty. Once the challenge is completed, players can review detailed battle data, compare results with friends, and unlock rewards such as the Neurolink Suit for the main character, Eve.

In addition to the Boss Challenge mode, the update introduces new outfits for players to enjoy. The game now features two new Nano Suits, White Kunoichi and Black Kunoichi, with more options available in-game. Furthermore, controversial outfits like Midsummer Redhood and Midsummer Alice, previously criticized for being “censored,” have been reintroduced in the game as separate from their original designs.

Along with these additions, the update brings quality-of-life improvements, including enhanced targeting mechanics and an option to always display the compass on the heads-up display. These improvements aim to enhance the overall gaming experience for players. With these exciting updates, Stellar Blade continues to evolve and provide engaging content for fans of the action genre.
