Boyfriend Arrested for Fatal Shooting of 15-Year-Old Girl: Shocking Details Revealed

LOWELL, Mass. – A tragic incident unfolded in Lowell, Massachusetts, as 21-year-old Trevor Bady was taken into custody on Monday following the fatal shooting of his 15-year-old girlfriend, Ahliana Dickey. The Middlesex District Attorney, Marian Ryan, revealed that Bady faces multiple charges, including murder, in connection to Dickey’s death.

Dickey’s family members grew concerned when she failed to attend her eighth-grade graduation on Friday morning. Later that evening, a distressing discovery was made at the young girl’s home on Lowell Street, where she was found with gunshot wounds in a first-floor bedroom.

According to Ryan, an investigation revealed that Dickey had been in an abusive relationship with Bady, who had assaulted and threatened her in the past. Tragically, Dickey had confided in several individuals about the abuse she endured at the hands of her boyfriend.

Law enforcement became involved after receiving reports of a disturbance on Lawrence Street, where witnesses heard a female screaming for help before gunshots were heard. Subsequent video evidence supported these claims, showing Dickey yelling for assistance and Bady leaving the scene shortly after.

Authorities were able to track down Bady at a residence in Peabody, leading to his arrest without resistance. In addition to the murder charge, Bady faces multiple other charges related to the incident, including armed home invasion and unlawful possession of a firearm.

As the investigation into this heartbreaking tragedy continues, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Lowell police, and Massachusetts State Police remain committed to seeking justice for Ahliana Dickey and her grieving family.
