Brady Warns Roast Master Jeff Ross: ‘Don’t Cross this Line!’

Boston, MA – Tom Brady, the legendary Hall of Fame quarterback, recently found himself at the center of attention during a Netflix roast where his response to a joke about his close friend, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, sparked controversy. During the roast, comedian Jeff Ross targeted Kraft’s 2019 involvement in a Florida massage parlor, leading to Brady’s swift reaction.

Initially, Brady appeared to take the joke in jest, but shortly after, he approached the podium to express his disapproval to Ross. The incident was captured on camera, with Brady’s admonishment clearly audible during the live event. Kraft had previously faced allegations of soliciting sex acts at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida, leading to a public apology despite pleading not guilty.

The prosecutors later dropped the solicitation charges against Kraft due to violations of privacy rights involving video and audio surveillance. The court ruled against the admissibility of evidence obtained through secret video cameras installed inside massage rooms by the Jupiter police.

Despite a night filled with offensive humor at the roast, Brady drew the line at jokes involving Kraft, showing a sensitivity that was absent when addressing other topics, including his family, love life, and even deceased former teammate Aaron Hernandez. Brady utilized a humoristic reference to Hernandez in a joke directed at tight end Rob Gronkowski during the roast, illustrating the line between acceptable and inappropriate humor. Comic Nikki Glaser also made light of Hernandez’s tragic jailhouse suicide during the event.
