**Britney Spears** Finalizes Divorce with Sam Asghari: No Future Spousal Support!

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have officially ended their marriage and are now single. A Los Angeles County judge finalized the couple’s divorce nearly two years after their wedding. The decision came following a divorce settlement agreement reached between the 42-year-old pop superstar and the 30-year-old model and actor. Additionally, Spears recently settled lingering issues with her father regarding her conservatorship.

The couple filed papers last week indicating that they had come to an agreement on dividing their assets, with no future spousal support for either party. Any further disputes will need to be resolved through private arbitration. Spears and Asghari split in July, with Asghari filing for divorce in August. Despite dating for approximately seven years, they did not have any children together.

Spears disclosed in her memoir published last year about experiencing a miscarriage shortly before marrying Asghari. The high-profile marriage ceremony in June 2022 at Spears’ home was attended by celebrities like Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Madonna. However, the marriage did not last long, culminating in their separation just over a year later.

After reaching a settlement with her father on issues from the conservatorship, Spears has maintained a mostly private stance on the divorce. In an Instagram post after the divorce filing, she expressed that the reasons for the split were personal and not up for public scrutiny. Spears has released music since the end of the conservatorship but has stated that she has no plans to perform live or release a new album.

Asghari cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, marking the third failed marriage for Spears. She has two teenage sons from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline and a brief marriage in 2004 to childhood friend Jason Alexander. Spears and Asghari met in 2016 during the production of her music video and announced their engagement in 2021 after the conservatorship ended.

The couple’s separation underscores the complexities of relationships in the public eye, especially for someone like Spears who has faced intense media scrutiny throughout her career. Despite the challenges, Spears continues to focus on her music and personal growth as she navigates this new chapter in her life.
