The exhibit hall at the CHI Health Center boasts over 20,000 square feet of showroom space and more than 50,000 items in inventory from companies like Brooks Running, See’s Candies, and Jazwares. Shareholders have the exclusive opportunity to shop at a special discount during the event.
One of the popular attractions at the meeting is Jazwares, the American toymaker known for its Squishmallows plushie line. Last year, the company stole the show with its display, including a Warren Buffett plushie. This year, Jazwares has expanded its exhibit space, making it three times larger, much to the delight of attendees.
At the meeting, attendees can also find a display honoring Charles Munger ahead of the event. Additionally, FlightSafety, a pilot training company acquired by Berkshire in 1996, offers shareholders a taste of its training program through a flight simulation experience using virtual reality glasses.
Another highlight at the event is the presence of Pilot Travel Centers, the largest operator of travel centers in North America, now fully owned by Berkshire after acquiring the remaining 20% ownership interest from the Haslam family. The company features a display with a real-sized red truck, drawing attention from shareholders.
Moreover, brands like Duracell and Brooks Running are also making waves at the meeting, showcasing special edition products and engaging attendees with interactive experiences. Dairy Queen, a brand acquired by Buffett in 1998, also has a presence, offering a glimpse into the billionaire investor’s personal preferences.
