Las Vegas, Nevada: The controversies surrounding brothers Nick Carter and the late Aaron Carter are set to be explored in an upcoming Investigation Discovery docuseries. Premiering on May 27, the four-part series titled “Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter” will delve into the brothers’ rise to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s, as well as their struggles in recent years.
The docuseries will shed light on accusations of sexual assault against Nick Carter by three women, as well as Aaron Carter’s battles with mental health and substance abuse. The rift that occurred between the brothers after Aaron chose to support Nick’s accusers will also be a focal point of the series.
Featuring exclusive interviews with accusers and firsthand accounts from members of the Carter family and close friends, “Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter” aims to provide a deeper understanding of the allegations and the challenges faced by accusers who come forward against celebrities and pop culture icons.
Aaron Carter, who gained fame as a singer and TV personality, tragically passed away in November 2022 at the age of 34. His cause of death was determined to be accidental drowning, exacerbated by the effects of difluoroethane and alprazolam.
In April 2023, Nick Carter was sued for sexual assault and sexual battery by Melissa Schuman, a former member of the pop group Dream. Additional accusers, Ashley Repp and Shay Ruth, also came forward with their own allegations following Schuman’s decision to speak out.
