Chick-fil-A Warns Customers: Polynesian Sauce Contaminated with Wheat and Soy – Urges Discard and Apologizes

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Chick-fil-A customers are being alerted about a potential contamination issue with one of their beloved sauces, urging them to dispose of the product to avoid any health risks.

According to the fast-food chain, Polynesian sauce packets distributed between February 14 and 27 may have been compromised and should be thrown away. While the stores have already taken measures to remove the affected sauce packages, customers who took them home are advised to do the same.

The concern arises from the possibility that the Polynesian sauce may have been mixed with another sauce that contains wheat and soy allergens, specifically found in Chick-fil-A’s Sweet and Spicy Sriracha sauce.

In an email to customers, Chick-fil-A expressed regret over the oversight, stating, “We understand and take seriously the trust our guests place in us to make sure your food is what you order, and we apologize for this experience.”

Despite attempts to gather additional information, the company remained unresponsive to inquiries made by KTLA.

For further assistance or inquiries, Chick-fil-A encourages affected customers to reach out to Chick-fil-A CARES at 1-866-232-2040.

This cautionary announcement serves as a reminder of the importance of food safety and transparency in the fast-food industry, emphasizing the need for prompt action to address potential risks to consumers.
