Los Angeles, California – Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son Christian “King” Combs are facing legal troubles as a lawsuit accuses Christian of sexual assault and battery on a yacht chartered by the music mogul. The lawsuit, filed by Grace O’Marcaigh in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleges that Christian forced her to consume a spiked shot of tequila, groped her, and then assaulted her.
The civil suit against Christian, 26, comes amid a series of legal complaints against Diddy alleging abuse and sexual assault by multiple victims spanning over 30 years. Attorney Tyrone Blackburn, representing O’Marcaigh, compared the behavior of father and son, stating, “It gives us no joy or pleasure in filing this suit against Christian Combs who has clearly adopted his father’s pattern and practice of depravity.”
O’Marcaigh, a steward on the yacht, alleged a dangerous environment of partying, drug use, and interactions between suspected sex workers and celebrities. She claimed that Christian’s behavior quickly turned sinister, as he forced her to consume a shot of tequila and proceeded to assault her in a highly aggressive manner. The lawsuit includes color photos showing bruises on O’Marcaigh’s arm resulting from the incident.
The suit also implicates music producer Rodney Jones, who made audio recordings of O’Marcaigh asking Christian to stop touching her. Despite complaining to the ship’s captain, O’Marcaigh alleges that the incident was not properly investigated and that Diddy paid the captain a hefty tip as part of a cover-up.
Christian is facing accusations of assault, battery, sexual assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, while Diddy is accused of aiding and abetting the behavior and premises liability as the leaseholder of the yacht. Neither Diddy nor Christian Combs have issued a statement regarding the lawsuit.
The lawsuit against Christian comes in the wake of federal investigations into Diddy, with raids on his properties in Los Angeles and Miami. Christian and his half-brother Justin were handcuffed during the raid at their father’s residence in Los Angeles, and investigators seized phones belonging to Diddy. The raids are part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
