Littleton, Colorado – Former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle, notorious for his scandal involving minors and child pornography, is currently serving a 15-year prison sentence at FCI Englewood in Colorado. Fogle’s fall from grace began in 2015 when authorities uncovered his involvement in soliciting minors for sex and possessing a large collection of child pornography.
Since his incarceration, Fogle has been assigned various tasks in prison, including kitchen duty and janitorial work. Despite his celebrity status as the face of Subway’s weight-loss campaign, which helped him amass millions through endorsements, Fogle now spends his days in prison making meals for other inmates.
While Fogle has expressed remorse for his actions in a handwritten letter, acknowledging his mistakes and vowing to become a better man upon release, his attempts to have his sentence reduced have been unsuccessful. He must serve at least 85% of his sentence, making his earliest possible release date in 2029.
Despite his previous fame and fortune, Fogle now lives a modest existence in prison, with limited access to funds for personal items. He spends his time watching TV, writing letters, and corresponding with others through the prison’s messaging system. The disgraced pitchman will also have to register as a sex offender for life upon his eventual release.
