Cover-Up Chaos: Music Producer Accuses Diddy of Involvement in 2022 Shooting

Los Angeles, California – Music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones has filed new allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son, accusing them of involvement in a shooting incident in September 2022. These new claims are in addition to the original lawsuit where Jones accused Diddy of sexual assault and harassment.

According to the amended complaint, Lil Rod alleges that either Diddy or his son Justin shot Justin’s friend, identified as “G,” in the abdomen and near his leg or hip area at Chalice Recording Studio in Los Angeles. The shooting reportedly occurred following an argument during a “writers and producers camp” at the studio.

The complaint included pictures of a bloodied bathroom where the shooting took place, claiming that Diddy, Justin, and G moved to a nearby bathroom just 2 feet away from Lil Rod when the shots were fired. The complaint also stated that Diddy and Justin left the bathroom while G remained on the floor, and Lil Rod applied pressure to G’s wounds and called for an ambulance.

Despite Lil Rod’s account, the Los Angeles Police Department provided a conflicting report, stating that the shooting actually occurred some distance away from the studio. Diddy’s attorney Shawn Holley denied the allegations, claiming that neither Diddy nor Justin were involved in the incident.

In his initial complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Lil Rod accused Diddy of various offenses, including sexual assault, harassment, and non-payment for production work on Diddy’s latest album. The lawsuit also alleged that Diddy implicated himself in the killing of a rapper named Shyne in 1999.

This lawsuit adds to a series of legal challenges Diddy has faced, including accusations of sexual abuse from multiple women. Diddy has denied all allegations and stepped down from his position as chairman of media company Revolt. The ongoing legal battle has raised questions about his reputation and the management of the situation by his legal team.
