PITTSBURGH, PA – A baby shower celebration in Pittsburgh’s Fairywood neighborhood took a tragic turn on Saturday evening when gunfire broke out at the Westside Salvation Army Community Center, leaving one person dead and two others wounded. Pittsburgh Public Safety reported that one male was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was hospitalized in critical condition. A third individual was located in Sheraden and taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The deceased was identified as Antoine Dorsey, 19, from Pittsburgh. According to the police, six or seven shots were fired around 6:15 p.m., but the motive behind the gunfire remains unknown. Authorities are currently working on obtaining video footage to gain more insight into the incident.
