**Desperate Family Searches for Missing University of Missouri Student in Nashville After Night Out**

Nashville, Tennessee – A University of Missouri student, Riley Strain, has been reported missing since Friday after leaving a bar in Nashville. The 22-year-old senior was visiting the city with his fraternity brothers for their spring formal when he vanished after being asked to leave a bar in the Broadway area, known for its bustling nightlife.

According to reports, Strain’s friends last saw him at the bar before he was separated from the group. Despite telling his friends that he was walking back to his hotel, Strain never made it back, leaving his room key behind. Concerned for his well-being, his friends searched for him, checked his Snapchat locations, and even went through their fraternity brothers’ rooms, but found no sign of him.

As worries grew, Strain’s stepfather, Chris Whiteid, along with his wife, Michelle Whiteid, traveled from Springfield, Missouri to Nashville to join in the search for their missing loved one. The family is desperate for any information that could lead to Strain’s whereabouts, as they endure the agonizing wait for news of his safety.

Search efforts have included a helicopter search of the Gay Street area where Strain was last seen, as well as searches along the riverbank, but have so far yielded no results. Authorities are urging anyone with information on Strain’s location to contact the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department at (615)-862-8600.

The University of Missouri has also released a statement confirming that Strain was reported missing after traveling to Nashville for a private event, and the school is cooperating with both his family and Nashville authorities in the search. Counseling resources have been made available to the campus community to provide support during this difficult time.

Strain is described as 6-foot-5 with a thin build, blue eyes, and light brown hair. His disappearance has deeply affected both his family and the university community, who are holding out hope for his safe return. As the search continues, loved ones are asking for the public’s assistance in bringing Strain back home.
