Ksenia Karelina, a dual U.S.-Russian citizen and former ballerina turned esthetician in Beverly Hills, was reportedly detained for allegedly financially supporting Ukraine’s army.
Chris Van Heerden, Karelina’s boyfriend, revealed that she had traveled to Russia to visit her family, including her aging grandmother, before getting arrested. Van Heerden expressed his concern for Karelina’s well-being and urged for her safe return, emphasizing that she is “just a normal person.”
