Double murder and child abduction

CLOVIS, NM – Tragedy struck a park in Clovis, New Mexico, as two women were discovered dead and a young girl critically wounded, authorities confirmed on Sunday. Adding to the urgency of the situation, a 10-month-old girl, related to one of the victims, has reportedly been abducted. The police are yet to identify any suspects in the case.

The victims have been identified as Samantha Cisneros and Taryn Allen, both 23 years old and residents of Texico, New Mexico. Authorities confirmed that at least one of the women succumbed to a fatal gunshot wound. The 5-year-old girl was also critically injured due to a gunshot.

An Amber Alert was issued late Friday by the New Mexico State Police for the missing infant. Cisneros, the mother of both children, is one of the deceased. The fathers of the children are cooperating with the investigation and are not considered suspects, as per the police.

The crime scene was a city park, approximately 5 miles north of Clovis, where the women’s belongings were found scattered near their bodies. A vehicle, owned by one of the victims, was also discovered at the scene.

The FBI and local Clovis police are urging the public to provide any information that could aid the investigation. Clovis is a city in eastern New Mexico, near the Texas border.
