DUI Disaster: Real Housewives Star Karen Huger’s High-Speed Crash Caught on Camera

Potomac, Maryland – Reality TV star Karen Huger found herself in a high-speed DUI crash that resulted in significant damage to a road in Potomac on Tuesday night. Images obtained by TMZ revealed the aftermath of the incident, showing Huger’s 2017 Maserati completely totaled after swerving off the road and colliding with a tree. The crash also involved hitting a median, a crosswalk sign, and leaving tire marks on the grass.

It was reported that Huger, 60, was coming home from dinner with a friend, engaging in serious discussions before the crash occurred. Despite her emotional state, she allegedly claimed that another vehicle approaching her led her to lose control, resulting in the crash. The Montgomery County Police Department spokesperson described Huger’s driving as aggressive prior to the accident, ultimately leading to the destruction of her luxury vehicle.

Huger has been a prominent figure on “The Real Housewives of Potomac” since its inaugural season in 2016. Following the crash, she was charged with driving under the influence, as well as facing a charge for driving while impaired by alcohol. Additionally, she has a history of six traffic violations related to negligent driving practices, which include speeding and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.

In a further twist, Huger reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer test after being arrested. She was eventually released to her husband, Raymond Huger, after the DUI charge was issued. The reality star’s legal troubles continue to mount as she is now required to make court appearances related to the recent incident. Fines for her traffic violations range from $50 to $510, adding to the legal and financial burden she now faces.
