According to Indiana State Police Sgt. John Davis, shots were fired during an altercation between officers and the suspect, Sean Hubert, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. The shooting claimed the lives of Tell City Sgt. Heather Glenn and Hubert, a 34-year-old local resident.
Tell City Police Chief Derrick Lawalin expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of Sgt. Glenn, describing her as a highly respected colleague and friend. He emphasized the significant impact her death has had on the police department, stating, “Our police department suffered a tremendous loss. We lost a dear colleague, a dear friend. Sgt. Glenn was a cornerstone of our department.” Chief Lawalin also extended his condolences to Hubert’s family.
