FIREFIGHTERS BATTLE MASSIVE BLAZE ON MAIN STREET IN LINCOLN: Raw Footage Captures Intense Flames

Lincoln, New Hampshire – Firefighters battled a significant blaze engulfing a building on Main Street in Lincoln on a bustling Saturday afternoon. The building housed multiple apartments and Udderly Delicious, an ice cream shop, was also affected.

Upon arrival, fire crews discovered heavy flames on the first and third floors as well as the front of the building. According to Assistant Deputy Chief Michael Weden of the Lincoln Fire Department, all occupants were safely evacuated. Firefighters from various towns and agencies such as Sugar Hill, Woodstock, Littleton, and Campton-Thornton responded to the scene to assist in containing the fire.

Using an excavator, crews worked diligently to locate and extinguish smaller hotspots, eventually removing parts of the metal roof. The community rallied together in support, with local residents providing essential assistance such as food and drinks to keep everyone involved hydrated and nourished. Volunteer Becca Macaului emphasized the community’s unity during challenging times, describing them as the equivalent of the fire department’s caregivers.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the incident, and investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire. The collective efforts of firefighters, volunteers, and community members in responding to the emergency showcase the strength and resilience of the Lincoln community in the face of adversity.
