Florida women arrested for fight in which a woman’s ear was partially bitten off

In a shocking incident in Florida, two women have been taken into custody following a July 4 brawl that saw one woman biting off a portion of the other’s ear, as per the local police. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday that 18-year-old Dixie Stiles has been slapped with battery charges, while Macy Regan, 23, is facing felony battery charges for causing bodily harm.

The law enforcement officers were drawn to the scene following a distress call about an assault and battery at an address on Olokee Street in Callaway. Investigations led to the discovery of an unsanctioned party thrown by underage individuals at a neighboring house. The violent incident unfolded shortly after midnight, involving multiple men in the yard of the party house.

The situation took a turn for the worse when Regan, attempting to leave the scene, was accused by Stiles of stealing alcohol and vape pens. The confrontation escalated when Regan allegedly brandished a 9mm handgun from her waistband. Stiles responded by pushing the weapon away, sparking a physical fight.

In the heat of the fight, Regan bit off the upper part of Stiles’ ear, as stated by the authorities. The ear could not be salvaged and reattached. The sheriff’s office also reported multiple other injuries, including lacerations and bruises, sustained during the brawl.
