Former Megan Thee Stallion Employee Exposes Disturbing Truth Behind Hostile Work Environment

Houston, Texas – Another former employee of rap star Megan Thee Stallion has stepped forward to support claims made by Emilio Garcia, a former cameraman who is suing the rapper for withholding wages and creating a hostile work environment. The new employee, makeup artist Akil McCoy, corroborates some of Garcia’s allegations, stating that he witnessed acts of selfishness and lack of integrity from Megan Thee Stallion while working with her.

Garcia’s lawsuit alleges that after confiding in McCoy about his contemplation of quitting due to possessiveness and inadequate pay from the rapper, Megan Thee Stallion began to hire another cameraman. McCoy further claims to have observed pay disparities firsthand, with Garcia not being compensated for his work during a trip to London with the rapper.

According to McCoy, Garcia also faced low and untimely payments for his work on Meek Mill and Future’s Legendary Nights tour in 2019, during which Megan Thee Stallion was a special guest. McCoy expressed disappointment over Megan Thee Stallion’s decision to replace Garcia with another photographer after she signed a management deal with Roc Nation in late 2018.

Conditions for Garcia reportedly worsened in 2020 when Megan Thee Stallion stopped using him, leaving him broke and out of work. McCoy states that he stayed in contact with Garcia during this period until he was eventually brought back into the fold of working for the rapper. However, McCoy claims to have heard sickening remarks from Megan Thee Stallion about another employee, stylist Todd White, in 2019, causing him to question her character and integrity.

Garcia’s attorney, Ronald Zambrano, emphasized the need to address the illegal behavior faced by those working for celebrities, rejecting the notion that employees should tolerate such actions. In response to McCoy’s claims, Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney simply denies the allegations. Requests for comments from Megan Thee Stallion and Todd White have not received on-the-record responses.

The ongoing legal battle sheds light on the challenges that some employees face while working in the entertainment industry and raises questions about fair treatment and compensation within the context of celebrity employment. As the case unfolds, the spotlight remains on the responsibilities of celebrities towards their employees and the importance of upholding ethical standards in the workplace.
