FURIOUS” Ozzy Osbourne Slams Kanye West for War Pigs Sample on Vultures: “I Want No Association with This Man

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has taken issue with Kanye West for including a sample of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” in a song on an upcoming album. The 75-year-old bashed West on Twitter after the rapper included the sample without permission, calling West an antisemite and expressing his desire to have no association with him. This controversy comes after West, now known as Ye, hosted a live listening party for his album “Vultures” in Chicago.

During the listening party, the streaming service broadcasting the event quickly shut down the feed after a controversial lyric in which Ye claimed to be an antisemite. In addition, the title track of “Vultures” included a lyric that has been widely criticized for its offensive content.

This is not the first time West has sampled Black Sabbath, as he previously included a sample of another one of the band’s songs in a different track. This recent controversy has sparked a response from the rock legend, who previously praised T-Pain for his rendition of “War Pigs.”

Ozzy Osbourne’s vocal disapproval of Kanye West’s actions has taken center stage, especially considering the history of the two artists. The controversy surrounding the unauthorized use of the “War Pigs” sample and the offensive lyrics in West’s new album has ignited a public dispute between the two music icons and has certainly left fans and critics alike abuzz with debate and commentary.
