Despite the challenges posed by the extreme temperatures, pilgrims have remained steadfast in their commitment to fulfilling their religious duties. Umbrellas have been used as protection from the sun, while authorities have advised pilgrims to avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours. The conclusion of the Hajj pilgrimage on Wednesday marks the end of this year’s event, which attracted over 1.8 million participants, according to the Saudi General Authority for Statistics.
