High speed chase ends with four people dead, including pregnant teen

CONCORD TOWNSHIP, PA – A high-speed police chase in southeastern Pennsylvania ended tragically on Wednesday, with four individuals, including a pregnant teenager, losing their lives in a fiery car crash. The chase ensued after authorities attempted to question the individuals in connection with a series of retail thefts.

The vehicle, carrying seven passengers, was initially pulled over by troopers near a shopping center in Concord Township. However, the driver, later identified as 20-year-old Isaiah Miller, sped off, leading to a 7-mile pursuit along Route 322. Miller reportedly lost control of the car while attempting to overtake another vehicle using the right shoulder, resulting in a catastrophic collision with a concrete bridge embankment.

The impact ignited a fire, trapping the occupants inside. Despite efforts from troopers to extinguish the blaze and rescue the passengers, four individuals perished in the incident. Alongside Miller, the deceased included 20-year-old Ikeam Rogers, 21-year-old Kalyn Billups, and 17-year-old Tyjana Motley, who was pregnant. Motley passed away in the hospital shortly after the crash, with attempts to save her unborn child proving unsuccessful.

The remaining three passengers, two adults and a 16-year-old girl, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are currently receiving treatment. The Pennsylvania State Police are conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the chase and the crash.
