Highway Shooting in Foxborough: Help Needed to Identify Shooter of Justin Parker – Dashcam Footage Requested by State Police

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Massachusetts State Police are seeking the public’s assistance following the fatal shooting of a North Attleborough man on Saturday night along Interstate 95 in Foxborough. The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office reported that the victim, 37-year-old Justin Parker, was shot multiple times while driving a black Mercedes-Benz on I-95 south shortly before 10 p.m. Parker was rushed to Sturdy Memorial Hospital where he was tragically pronounced dead. State Police detectives are reaching out to the community for any dashcam or video footage captured between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. along the I-95 South corridor from Waltham to the Rhode Island line, as well as along the Route 3/I-93 corridor from Boston or Weymouth, through Milton and Canton to I-95 South.

District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey urged truck drivers, rideshare drivers, or anyone with dash cams to come forward, stating that they have developed crucial information that may help identify the shooter’s car. The shooter is believed to have merged onto I-95 South from either of those directions around 9:20 p.m. Motorists who witnessed the incident, observed dark-colored cars driving erratically or at high speeds, or have video footage of the area have been asked to contact the authorities.

Morrissey emphasized that individuals do not need to review their footage and make determinations, but rather, they should call to arrange for the police to view the footage. With the investigation at a critical stage, Morrissey expressed confidence that the footage could lead to the identification of the individual responsible for Parker’s death. Anyone with relevant video footage is urged to contact investigators at 781-327-9801.
