Jackpot Denied: Woman Fights Bally’s Casino for $2 Million Win – Exclusive Details mentioned

Atlantic City, New Jersey – A New Jersey woman found herself in a dispute with Bally’s Casino over a jackpot win of more than $2 million on a slot machine. Roney Beal, a 72-year-old gambler, claims that despite her big win on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine at the casino in February, she has not received her winnings due to the casino’s allegation of a technical glitch.

Beal expressed her frustration, stating that she feels it is unfair for the casino to withhold her winnings, questioning the purpose of playing if prizes are not honored. After losing $1,000 on other machines, Beal returned to the Wheel of Fortune slot, where she believes she hit the jackpot after a few spins.

However, when Beal sought assistance after the win, she was informed by a Bally’s employee that the machine was malfunctioning, and she was asked to leave the premises. Beal’s attorney, Mike Di Croce, is preparing a legal complaint against Bally’s and International Game Technology (IGT) for the $2.56 million win, including a claim for emotional distress.

Beal, who expressed a desire to help her homeless son by purchasing a trailer, emphasized the importance of receiving the money. Bally’s Casino has shifted responsibility to IGT for handling payouts, stating that they are not directly responsible for such matters.

Despite the ongoing dispute, Beal remains hopeful that justice will prevail and that she will receive her winnings before it is too late. The involvement of regulatory authorities, such as the State of New Jersey Casino Control Commission, in the investigation and resolution of this issue is yet to be determined. The desire for fairness and accountability echoes through Beal’s pursuit of what she believes is rightfully hers.
