Trenton, New Jersey – The Mega Millions jackpot for the upcoming drawing has been reset to $20 million after a fortunate winner in New Jersey snagged a whopping $1.13 billion jackpot earlier this week.
The lucky numbers for the new jackpot were drawn on Friday at 11 p.m. ET. The winner of the Mega Millions jackpot has the option to take home an estimated $9.5 million after taxes as a lump sum payment.
The winning numbers for the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, March 29 were 30, 60, 11, 33, 38, with a Megaball of 16.
Participants are in for a chance to win big if they choose to play the Megaplier feature which can multiply non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, or five times for an additional cost of $1 per play.
To purchase a ticket, one can visit local convenience stores, gas stations, or grocery stores. In some states, tickets can also be bought online for added convenience.
Players are required to select six numbers – five white balls ranging from 1 to 70 and one gold Mega Ball from 1 to 25. For those skeptical about choosing numbers, a “Quick Pick” option is available, where the computer randomly generates numbers.
