Jesse Jane, adult star and actress dead at 43

MOORE, OK – Jesse Jane, a renowned adult film actress, has passed away at 43. Jane and her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, were found deceased at their residence in Moore, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, January 24. The discovery was made by local law enforcement responding to a welfare check initiated by Hasenmueller’s employer, who had not received any communication from him for several days.

The duration for which the couple had been dead before their bodies were found is currently unknown. Preliminary reports suggest that the cause of death for both individuals could be related to drugs, however, an official investigation is in progress to confirm the exact circumstances surrounding their demise.

Jane made her debut in the adult film industry in 2002 after signing a contract with Digital Playground. She gained significant recognition for her role in the 2008 film, Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge, an $8 million production hailed as the most expensive adult film ever made.

In addition to her adult film career, Jane also made appearances in mainstream media. She featured in an episode of the popular HBO series, Entourage, and starred in the 2009 film, Middle Men. Jane’s charisma also earned her hosting roles on Playboy’s live show, Night Calls, and Playboy TV’s Naughty Amateur Home Videos.

Jane’s contribution to the adult film industry was recognized in 2013 when she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. She retired in 2017, but made a brief return in 2019. Before her untimely death, Jane had filmed cameo roles in the yet-to-be-released films, The Curse of the Zombie Pirates and Blackout Z. She leaves behind a son.
