Man and three children found shot dead

NORCROSS, GA – An officer’s routine patrol took a grim turn at Lucky Shoals Park in Gwinnett County, where a man and three young children, believed to be his offspring, were found shot to death.

According to police reports, the officer made the grim discovery around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. While patrolling, he noticed a car parked on a walking path within the park. When his attempts to communicate with the passengers inside yielded no response, he decided to investigate further.

The officer found the bodies inside the car. The male adult, suspected to be the children’s father, was seated in the driver’s seat. The bodies of the two girls and one boy, who appeared to be of elementary or middle school age, were also in the four-door car.
