Atlanta, Georgia – British actress Florence Pugh has returned to the Marvel set, sharing an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Atlanta-based production of the upcoming film “Thunderbolts.” Known for her role as assassin Yelena Belova in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Pugh first appeared in the 2021 film “Black Widow” and later in the Disney+ series “Hawkeye.”
In a video posted on Instagram, Pugh excitedly showcased elements of the set, giving fans a sneak peek at the construction and design of the new film. Director Jake Schreier also made an appearance in the video, expressing surprise at Pugh’s candid filming of the set.
The “Thunderbolts” adaptation from Marvel comics follows a group of villains embarking on complex and daring adventures. While plot details of the movie remain under wraps, earlier reports hinted at the involvement of various actors, including Steven Yeun and Ayo Edebiri. However, changes in casting saw Lewis Pullman and Geraldine Viswanathan stepping in to replace Yeun and Edebiri respectively.
