Marvel Studios Unveils Cast and Release Dates for ‘The Fantastic Four’ Reboot – Find Out Here!

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – The Marvel Cinematic Universe is adding another highly anticipated film to its roster, with the announcement of the cast for the upcoming “Fantastic Four.” This superhero quartet, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, is set to be portrayed by Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

The casting announcement comes with a shift in release dates for upcoming Marvel films, as “The Fantastic Four” is now scheduled for July 25, 2025, and “Thunderbolts” for May 2, 2025. These highly anticipated releases are part of a lineup of Marvel tentpoles set for 2025 and 2026.

In the comics, the Fantastic Four gain superpowers after being exposed to cosmic rays in space. Each member of the team possesses unique abilities, from stretching and invisibility to fire manipulation and super strength. The film adaptation will be directed by Matt Shakman and is expected to begin filming by the summer.

This casting marks a significant moment as the Fantastic Four had not previously been integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to movie rights belonging to 20th Century Fox. However, after Disney acquired 21st Century Fox, the characters are now able to join the MCU.

The addition of the Fantastic Four to the MCU solidifies their position as a key pillar of the superhero universe, following the departure of characters like Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. It also presents an opportunity for new storytelling and potential crossovers within the expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.
