Maskless ‘Yellowstone’ Actor Kicked Off Plane: Forrie J. Smith Stranded in Houston Airport After Controversial Incident

Houston, Texas – Actor Forrie J. Smith, known for his role as Lloyd Pierce on the hit drama series “Yellowstone,” found himself in a peculiar situation over the weekend due to his stance on mask-wearing.

Smith took to social media to share a video explaining how he was removed from a plane at a Houston airport because he expressed discomfort sitting next to someone wearing a mask. The incident stemmed from Smith’s refusal to abide by mask-wearing protocols during the flight.

In a video posted on Instagram, Smith mentioned that he had been consuming alcohol while waiting at the airport for three hours before being escorted off the plane. This incident is not the first time Smith has made his opinions on public health matters known, as he previously opted out of attending the Screen Actors Guild Awards due to the event’s vaccination requirement.

During the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2022, Smith stated on Instagram that he was unvaccinated and therefore unable to attend the ceremony. He reiterated his stance on vaccines, citing concerns about their impact on immunity and stating that he does not vaccinate himself, his pets, or his horses.

In his video addressing the airplane incident, Smith did not disclose the airline he was traveling with or his destination. He reiterated his discomfort with mask-wearing and emphasized his decision not to continue the flight due to this issue.

The popular series “Yellowstone” is set to resume production on its final episodes in the late spring of 2024, with a premiere date scheduled for November of the same year. The show’s fifth and final season is eagerly anticipated by fans, marking the end of the flagship series created by Taylor Sheridan.
