Cleveland police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Warehouse District early Sunday morning, leaving nine people injured. The suspect opened fire on a group of individuals at the intersection of West 6th and Johnson Court around 2:30 a.m. before fleeing the scene. Cleveland Police Chief Wayne Drummond confirmed that officers were already present at the location when the shooting took place and immediately provided aid to the victims.
The injured individuals, consisting of seven men and two women aged between 23 and 38, were transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment. While one man remains in critical condition, the other victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The police are currently searching for a Black male suspect, possibly with a gold grill in his mouth.
Bobby George, the owner of several downtown businesses such as Barley House and Rebol, has offered a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the mass shooting. Investigators are diligently reviewing evidence, including video footage, and conducting interviews with the victims at MetroHealth Medical Center.
