Matt Damon Reveals Shocking Super Bowl Commercial Ad-Lib On The Late Show

LOS ANGELES, California – Last week’s Dunkin’ Super Bowl commercial featuring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Tom Brady had some unscripted moments, according to Damon. During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Damon revealed that his famous quip at the end of the ad was actually ad-libbed. The extended cut of the commercial has since been released, showing the trio’s journey to pop stardom and the creation of boy band The DunKings.

Damon admitted that his line to Affleck, “Remember how I said I would do anything for you? This is anything,” was not part of the script but something he said during filming. Despite the impromptu addition, Damon joked that Affleck shouldn’t expect any more favors, as he has used up all his credits.

The ad, which featured the three celebrities in colorful track suits, was a hit during the Super Bowl, even though Damon denied that the wardrobe choice was his idea. Nevertheless, he expressed that they had a lot of fun filming the commercial. However, Damon’s revelation about the unscripted moment added an extra layer of spontaneity and humor to the popular ad, leaving fans with a newfound appreciation for the trio’s comedic chemistry.
