GREENVILLE, N.C. – Memphis basketball celebrated Leap Day by securing a commanding 82-58 victory over East Carolina at Minges Coliseum. The Tigers’ win marks their third consecutive victory, bringing them within striking distance of a fourth-place tie in the league standings as they continue their push towards the AAC tournament in Fort Worth.

Led by standout performances from Nae’Qwan Tomlin and David Jones, the Tigers showcased their dominance on the court. Tomlin, emerging as a star for Memphis, delivered 20 points in this latest victory, building on his impressive recent performances. Meanwhile, Jones continued to shine, scoring 18 points to bolster the team’s offensive efforts.
